Joyful New Year

Tuesday, December 31st, 2019

New Years, New years, please help me stop my fears,
I’ll try and do my best to focus on the good things, and dispel the bad. News can make us very sad.

Resolutions are made, foundations are laid; but by
two weeks or so, you’ll forget what you said.

Keep it simple, and keep your expectations low,
and always remember to ponder a response, by keeping it thoughtfully– slow.

I look to my Maker for guidance from above, praying for miracles that may or may not come.

It’s been said time and time again,
May your New Year be a renewal for a brightly lit future.

And remember, to always keep the light on.
