This is a great recipe to start any day or holiday. It’s a great day in the neighborhood, so eat a healthy, yummy, breakfast. This ShortCut Cook recipe, is just what the Doctor ordered.
1 tsp. butter
1 medium size crispy apple, peeled and sliced
1 Tbs. water
1 tsp. cinnamon and sugar
1 tsp. milk or water
1 Tbs. pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 slices of your favorite bread, perfer low carb (optional)
Begin by adding butter to a small nonstick skillet and add apples. Saute’ until lightly brown. Lower heat, add water, and simmer until cooked through. Set aside.
Mix egg, milk, vanilla, and salt in a bowl. Using a medium size nonstick skillet, add butter and melt. When hot, add bread, watch closely, brown, turn over and lower the heat. Cook through.
